Beschrijving

The Tor is a special place in Glastonbury, South West England. A region called Somerset. If you are interested in the Goddess and paganism you should definitely visit Glastonbury. Many are coming to Glastonbury as a pelgrimage to a holy place. It is full of ancient stories, holy places and ancient tries. The Tor is a mystical hill in the area. The view on top of the Tor is phenomenal. The slopes of the hill are terraced, but the method by which they were formed remains a mysterie. The Tor is mentioned in celtic mythology, particularly in myths linked to King Arthur. In the Goddess community we recognise it as being Avalon or the entrance to Avalon. I believe the Tor has been used as a holy place and a place of ritual. There is a lot more to tell and feel about this special place but I believe very much in the power to explore it for yourself. Because then you will feel from within what Glastonbury and the area means to you.
